PostAWeek: Why The Filipinos Are Still Poor?

Thoughts:

The video basically ‘promotes’ something. It provokes the viewers to support the Parliamentary System. If some of you is still confuse what Parliamentary System is, this link might help you (here).

I think, we should not always blame the government. Yes, we have ‘corrupted government’ but I think, it is not always the fault of the government. We, the people should also help and cooperate with the government. We shouldn’t let them do all the work; after all, this is OUR COUNTRY, therefore we shouldn’t just wait and be dependent to our government.

I believe that Life isn’t fair but we can make it good by cooperating with each other. We, Filipinos lacked ‘cooperation’ with each other. We always take things for granted. We always ask others for help. We are always dependent to the people around us. We can’t stand on our own feet. We can’t move forward because we always settled for the less. We have this attitude of ‘Bahala Na’ or the “Mamaya na” habit. If we could just cooperate and help each other– help each other to stand independently, then I guess, everything will work hard.

For me, it is not with what ‘system of the government’ a country has that makes it wealthy; I think, what really matters is the people. How the people works for their country.
